40th anniversary screening! An uptown office drone (Griffin Dunne) tries to make it home from Soho after a bad date, but hits a raft of mishaps along the way. Scorsese’s black comedy features Rosanna Arquette, Verna Bloom, Teri Garr, Catherine O’Hara, Bronson Pinchot, and even Cheech and Chong. “Dazzling moviemaking” (Sheila Benson) that comes with a “dreamlike, surrealist sense of encroaching hysteria” (Eric Henderson).
